Muhammad (peace be upon him), often abbreviated as "S.A.W." (Salla Allahu Alaihi Wasallam), is considered the last prophet in Islam. He was born in Mecca around 570 CE and is believed by Muslims to be the final messenger of God (Allah).
 He is revered for delivering the Quran, the holy book of Islam, and for establishing the principles and practices of the Islamic faith.
